No. 124 1972 Omega Geneve
Here is a watch at the intersection of two generations of Omega time pieces. Though the manual wind calibre 613 used here was widely utilised throughout the 1960s, this example has Omega's design language from the early to mid 1970s. The most obvious difference is in the hand design - here they feature a half-luminous half-black paint that's instantly recognisable to the era.
Similar examples from the following year use Omega’s 10XX series movements, meaning this watch finds itself in between two prominent decades for the Biel based company.
It comes fully serviced with a 2 year guarantee. Original genuine Omega buckle, original dial, original hands. A fantastic example of early 70s Omega.
34mm case.
