I've never been as tempted to keep one of my watches as I have with this Longines. The design of the case as well as the beautiful Arabic numeral dial really captured something for me. The strap sits slightly below the body of the case thanks to the shorter lugs and the watch wears on the wrist so easily. After servicing I found myself wearing it for a few days and very nearly didn't take it off.

Inside is the reliable Longines calibre 501 which was introduced in the back end of the 1960s. It's a no-frills simple automatic movement with a satisfying and tactile date complication that's noticeably pleasing to advance! It comes fully serviced and is sold with a two year guarantee.

The rare for the time Arab numeral dial and 10k gold filled case show a patina formed through over 50 years of use, leaving this Longines in a unique and striking condition.
